2023 James B. Recchie Design Awards – Finalists Announced!
Our JBR finalists are: Historic Trolley Barn: East Market, Current, Jackie O’s on Fourth, Open Air School, and The South Wind Motel! The James B. Inaugural Most Endangered Sites Advocacy Bus Ride – Members-only Offering
Join us for our inaugural 2023 Most Endangered Sites Advocacy Bus Ride, Tuesday, September 12th from 12:15 to 5:00 PM. This is a members-only event. Attendees will have the opportunity to board a bus and learn about each site from Columbus Landmarks leadership. The tour will stop at each location and participating owners and developers will give a brief presentation of the future of the site. Demand for this limited capacity tour is expected to be high; each registration will be individually confirmed by staff. Leadership Speaking at Nationwide Children's Hospital
As part of Nationwide Children’s Hospital Cultural Encounter lecture series to staff, Columbus Landmarks CEO Dr. Kemper presented alongside Dr. Jason Reece (OSU, The Kirwan Institute faculty affiliate) and Ryan Praskovich from the Cap City Pipes & Drums about the cultural influences of immigrants into Columbus (fresh off of the Dublin Irish festival)!
